AAIA and Heyuan Polytechnic University co-establish Institute of AI Technology Application

On October 16, 2024, the AAIA signed a strategic cooperation with Heyuan Polytechnic University to set up the Institute of AI Technology Application. The institute aims to enhance the scientific research level of Heyuan Polytechnic University by carrying out applied research on AI technology and continuously exploring new technologies and algorithms; applying the research results in teaching practice to provide students with more cutting-edge knowledge and skills training; and establishing a close partnership with enterprises to understand their needs and cultivate talents that meet the needs of the enterprises. The unveiling ceremony of the institute was participated by leaders such as the President of Heyuan, the Secretariat of the AAIA and the leadership of the Heyuan Municipal Government and talks were given by them.

The AAIA will accurately docking service Institute of AI Technology Application through academic exchanges, scientific research cooperation, talent training and other ways, and strengthen cooperation with Heyuan Polytechnic University in terms of faculty construction, establishment of practice bases, and transformation of achievements, etc. The Institute of AI Technology Application will combine the industrial characteristics of the Heyuan area and the actual situation of the college, and apply AI technology to the local manufacturing industry, agriculture and other fields to solve problems in the actual production process.
