Call for 2025 AAIA Fellow Nomination
The Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA) was registered and established in 2021. As an international organization, AAIA leads the way in tracking AI trends and tackling future challenges. We work to connect global AI industries, innovation networks, and talent pools, helping technology and businesses grow. By promoting progress and teamwork, AAIA brings new energy to the AI fields and speeds up the use of AI in different industries.

AAIA Fellow Nomination Review Details The Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA) invites nominations for 2025 Fellowship. Fellows will be selected across academic disciplines with focus on artificial intelligence core areas (e.g., machine learning, computer vision, NLP, robotics, AI ethics) and interdisciplinary fields (e.g., AI+biology, AI+energy).
I. Core Selection Criteria
1. Academic Innovation Original contributions in theories, algorithms or models (e.g., seminal publications in top-tier, highly cited work, or widely adopted open-source tools).
2. Technological Breakthroughs Development of industry-influencing technologies (e.g., patents, frameworks, systems) or leadership in AI projects at prominent institutions/enterprises.
3. Application and Social Impact Demonstrated impact on societal challenges (e.g., climate change, public health) or contributions to AI ethics/safety standards.
4. Education and Communication Significant efforts in AI education (e.g., textbooks, courses, public engagement) with quantifiable reach (e.g., student numbers, course coverage).
II. Nomination Process
1. Eligible Nominators Current AAIA Fellows, academic society committees, or recognized institutions.
2. Required Materials
(1)Nomination letter (highlighting key contributions).
(2)Candidate CV (emphasizing key achievements).
(3)1-3 recommendation letters (from AAIA Fellows).
(4)Evidence of impact (e.g., awards, media coverage, adoption cases).
3. Review Stages
(1)Preliminary review. AAIA/Technical Council screens submissions.
(2)Final review. AAIA Fellow Evaluation Committee review.
(3)Announcement. The final list will be published in December 2025.
III. Evaluation Considerations
1. Timeliness Recent (≤10 years) high-impact works prioritized.
2. Interdisciplinary Integration Cross-domain contributions (e.g., AI for Science) encouraged.
3. Ethic Declare societal outcomes (e.g., bias, privacy).
4. Industrial Weight Commercial applications valued alongside academic work.
IV. Special Provisions
1. Fast Track Paradigm-shifting achievements may expedite review.
2. Exclusions Candidates with misconduct, ethics violations, or abuse records are ineligible.
3. Diversity Strong encouragement for nominees from developing regions and women.
4. Number The number of fellows elected in 2025 will be less than 100.
V. Fees
Nomination review fee: USD 2,000 (non-refundable).
